Not a car user - we always walk here so hard for me to comment. Although there does appear to be plenty of parking onthe Whirlow Dale Road section in the woods towards Millhouses

10. What other suggestions do you have?

I'm concerned that car drivers used dropped kerb areas as ways to drive onto raised areas to illegally park - ruining tactile pavements for pedestrians. Could the flat areas adjacent to the crossings be suitably landscaped to discourage this behaviour?

2. If you dislike the proposals it would be helpful if you could let us know a bit more about why?

Not a fan of pedestrian refuge points, on busy roads you have to rely on the good will of drivers/cyclist stopping to actually reach the midway point . I also think if there is a group of people trying to cross (maybe a school group) or people with prams or wheelchairs then its not a safe option. Adding a puffin crossing somewhere would help. I would also like to see the speed reduced to 30mph. I would have thought addressing the speed limit first would have made more sense.
